How it's built
The Local Business List is swept off Google Maps: 343 niche keywords run against every populated US ZIP code — 40,977 of them — and every listing each search returns is kept, deduped on Google's own place ID so a business that answers to four keywords in three neighbouring ZIPs is still one row. Each row is a real listing: the business name, the category Google files it under, its address, phone and website, its star rating, and the coordinates of the pin. City, state and ZIP are parsed out of the address line the listing carries, which works on 82% of them; a listing whose address doesn't parse keeps its address and has empty city and state cells rather than a guessed ones. The crawl runs continuously and stamps every record with when it was first and last seen. About 108,000 rows also carry an email address, from a secondary enrichment join on the business's website — that is 1.5% of the list, we say so on the page and in the FAQ, and there is a filter for those rows. What you will not find here is a verified owner's mobile number or a named decision maker: Google Maps does not publish them, and we are not going to invent them.
Questions
What's in a row?
The business name, the Google category it's filed under (4,198 of them, from “Roofing contractor” to “Medical spa”), the city, state and ZIP, the star rating, the phone number and the website. Coverage, in real numbers rather than adjectives: a phone on 91.9% of the 7.24M rows, a website on 71.3%, a star rating on 77.4%, a category on 99.6%, and a parsed city and state on 82%. Behind those, each record also holds the full address line, the latitude and longitude, Google's place ID, and the dates the listing was first and last seen by the crawl — ask and we'll add them to your export.
Do you include email addresses?
On about 108,000 rows — 1.5% of the list — and we would rather put that number in the FAQ than bury it. Those come from a secondary enrichment pass on the business's own website, and the explorer has an “Email” filter so you can work with only those rows when email is the channel. For the other 98.5%, the reliable channels are the ones Google publishes: a phone number on 92% of the list and a website on 71%. If somebody is selling you 7 million local business emails, ask them the same question.
Is “unlimited” really unlimited?
Yes: no credits, no searches-per-day cap, no per-record charge. Filter as often as you like and export every time. The two honest limits are a fair-use rate limit, which exists to stop one account hammering the API, and 50,000 rows per CSV file — a limit on the file, not on you: run the next filter and export again.
How fresh is the data?
The crawl is live rather than a snapshot: sweeps run continuously and every record carries the date it was last seen, so a listing that Google still shows keeps getting re-stamped. New businesses arrive as their ZIP comes round again. Local data decays fast — restaurants close, contractors change numbers — and the last-seen date is there so you can decide for yourself how old is too old rather than take our word for it.
How is this different from other local lead tools?
Mostly in how it's sold. Most tools in this space meter you — so many searches a day, so many credits a month — which makes the price you see really a price per lookup; this is $199 a month for the whole database, filtered and exported as often as you like. Two honest trade-offs: the list is US-only, and the contact columns are the listing's own phone and website rather than verified decision-maker contacts. If you need a named owner with a verified email, this isn't that. If you need every roofer in five states this afternoon without watching a credit counter, it is.
Is this legal, and can I resell the lists to clients?
It's business information a business chose to publish: the name, category, address, phone and website on its own public Google Maps listing. No consumer data, no personal addresses, no scraped private profiles. And yes — agencies building lists for clients are most of who buys this, so pulling a slice and handing it to a client is exactly what the flat price is for. What you can't do is resell access to the database itself, or republish it as a competing product.
