How it's built
The Podcast List starts from the public feed index — 4.71 million podcast feeds, the same RSS every podcast app reads — and then cuts it down hard. Two rules decide what stays: the show must have published an episode recently (every row here published between 19 April and 16 August 2026, so nothing on this list is a feed that died in 2019), and it must carry a contact address. Everything that failed either test was dropped rather than kept to make the number bigger, which is why this is 163,466 rows and not the 4.71 million we started from. That ratio is the whole point: the big number is free and useless, and you are paying for the 3% of it that will actually load and reply. The email comes from the feed's own <itunes:owner> tag on 138,223 shows and out of the show's description on the other 25,243, and which one it was is a column you can filter on. The audience score is an estimate — podcasts do not publish download numbers, so it is built from feed signals (publishing cadence, catalogue depth, how the show is distributed) and bucketed into four tiers. It is a way to sort the list, not a listener count. The list is English-language only; we would rather say so than sell you a language filter that returns nothing.
Questions
What's in a row?
The table and the CSV give you the show title, its main category, the host or owner name off the feed, how many episodes it has published, the date of its newest episode, an audience tier and score, the show's website, its RSS feed and its contact email. Behind those, each record also holds the show's full category list (2.2 tags on average, not just the one the table shows), its language tag, and where the email was found — ask and we'll add the ones you need to your export.
Other directories say there are millions of podcasts. Where did they go?
They are still there, and they are the reason this list is worth paying for. The public feed index runs to about 4.71 million entries; we screen all of it and keep 163,466. The rest fail one of two tests — the show stopped publishing (the large majority: podcasting has an enormous graveyard, and a directory has no reason to clean it up), or it carries no contact address, which makes it unreachable for anything you would buy this list to do. You can download four million dead feeds for free from half a dozen places. What you cannot easily get is the slice that is alive and answers, which is the only thing in here.
Is there really an email on every row?
Yes, and that is the whole point of the list: a show with no way to reach it was never added. 138,223 of the addresses are the one the feed publishes in its owner tag, which is what podcast apps and advertisers use; the other 25,243 were found in the show's own description. It is the show's published address, not a named producer we guessed at — for an independent podcast that is usually the host's inbox, and for a network show it is usually the network's.
What does the audience score mean?
It is an estimate, and the tier next to it exists because the estimate does not deserve two decimal places. Podcasts do not publish download numbers, so the score is derived from feed signals — how often the show publishes, how deep its catalogue is, how it is distributed. Use it to sort the list and to cut the tail; do not put it in a media kit.
How current is it?
Every show on the list published an episode between 19 April and 16 August 2026. The crawl is rerun and the list rebuilt monthly, and shows that have gone quiet are dropped rather than left in to inflate the count — so the number moves in both directions.
Can I export it?
Yes — any filter, as CSV, as often as you like. Exports are capped at 50,000 rows per file (that's a limit on the file, not on you: run another filter and export again). Need the whole list in one piece? Email us and we'll arrange it.
Is there a contract?
No. $199/month, cancel anytime from your dashboard — you keep access to the end of the period you've paid for, and anything you exported is yours to keep.
I want the other datasets and the API too.
That's Pro at $199/month: every niche dataset, plus unlimited company and contact search across the whole graph — from the site, the API or MCP. No record caps, fair use only.
