How it's built

The Newsletter Sponsor List is built by reading the ads themselves. We crawl public newsletter-sponsorship trackers and the sponsor pages newsletters publish about themselves, and each row is one placement we saw: the brand, the newsletter or channel it ran in, the date, the audience that issue went to, and the brand's own industry tags. Because a row is a placement rather than a company, a brand that sponsors every week appears every week — that repetition is the signal, and it is why the list can tell you who buys regularly rather than who bought once. The audience figure is the number the property publishes for itself, not our estimate and not an audited one. Contacts come from the same sources: where a sponsorship is publicly attributed to a person we keep their email, title and LinkedIn, and where it isn't the cells are empty rather than guessed at. Nothing here is generated or padded — 24,878 placements is what we have seen, and the count moves in both directions as the crawl reruns.

Questions

What's in a row?

One sponsorship placement: the brand, its website, the newsletter or channel it sponsored, whether that was a newsletter, YouTube, podcast or website placement, the audience size of the property, the property's category, the brand's own industry tags, the date it ran, and the contact columns below. 24,878 placements in all, from 6,189 distinct brands across 1,164 newsletters and channels.

Why does the same brand appear more than once?

Because each row is a placement, not a company. A brand that sponsors four newsletters a month has four rows a month, and that is the most useful thing in the database: it tells you who buys sponsorships repeatedly, where, and how recently. Filter to a newsletter to see everyone who has ever sponsored it, or to a brand to see its whole media plan.

What does “contact information” mean here?

Real numbers, because a coverage claim you can't check is worth nothing: a work email on 15,398 of 24,878 placements (62%), a LinkedIn profile on 16,473 (66%), and a job title on 2,678 (11%). Where the sponsorship is publicly attributed to a person — a partnerships lead, a growth marketer — that is who you get, not a generic info@ address. Where it isn't, the cells are blank; we would rather show you a blank than sell you a guess.

How current is it?

Placements run from July 2020 to February 2026, and the list is weighted to the recent end on purpose: 10,006 placements in 2025 and 4,434 already in 2026, against 3,943 in 2024. The “Last sponsored” filter takes a date range, so you can cut it to the last 90 days and work only from brands that are spending right now.

Is the audience number reliable?

It is the figure the newsletter or channel publishes about itself, carried through unchanged. Nobody audits newsletter subscriber counts, so treat it as the property's own claim and a way to sort the list — not as a verified number.

Can I export it?

Yes — any filter, as CSV, as often as you like. Exports are capped at 50,000 rows per file (that's a limit on the file, not on you: run another filter and export again). Need the whole list in one piece? Email us and we'll arrange it.

Is there a contract?

No. $199/month, cancel anytime from your dashboard — you keep access to the end of the period you've paid for, and anything you exported is yours to keep.

I want the other datasets and the API too.

That's Pro at $199/month: every niche dataset, plus unlimited company and contact search across the whole graph — from the site, the API or MCP. No record caps, fair use only.
